Been riding this bike for 5 yrs and just found this review. Thank you for summing up the bikes pros & negs.
I rode a 1980 Honda CX 500D since new into NYC for over 20 years. At 386k I swapped for a Silverwing version. Not my best decision.

The wish to return to a smaller bike is always there especially dealing with center stand. With loaded side bags.. a slight uphill can leave me searching for a push-off from an amused passer-by.

And that same passer-by is needed on cold nights when riding with electric gloves and vest have drained the system enough that I need a push start. I recently switched out the head and tail lights to LEDs
and that brought up the running voltage. We will see how that works next cold spell.

Dudes, loving the Guzzi still…Have 43K on her now…2 years old. Have ridden all over the USA! My biggest complaint is I can’t find any whitewalls that will fit her.
